Playhouse in the Park eagerly awaits entries in the theater’s first Ebenezer Scrooge look-alike contest, in conjunction with this year’s 17^th annual edition of “A Christmas Carol,” playing Dec. 1-30.

Contestants can enter in two categories: An honest-to-goodness look alike to Bruce Cromer in the role (no extra credit for humbuggy personality); and a creative interpretation – dress up your dog, your snowman, your clerk…

Winners will receive four tickets to “Carol” and a photo shoot with Cromer, who is judging, with “Carol” director Michael Haney.
