Children's Theatre of Cincinnati

ArtReach: The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati also features an outstanding outreach program.  Founded in 1976, ArtReach is Cincinnati’s oldest in-school touring theater.  Touring to schools, libraries and other facilities throughout the Tri-state, ArtReach provides education and entertainment for all age levels with fairy tales, history shows, and stories based on classic literature.

Children's Theatre of Mason Inc.
Since its inception in 2003, CTM has sold nearly 20,000 tickets and included over 500 children in its family-friendly productions.  CTM also offers an impressive variety of classes, workshops, and summer camps which not only educates children about theatre, but also fosters in them a love for the performing arts.  By providing top quality Directors, Production Crew members, and Instructors, CTM is able to help children learn valuable skills, build their confidence, and take part in experiences that they will always treasure. 
Cincinnati Black Theatre Company
CBTC promotes and preserves the culture of African Americans through theatre and theatre arts education, and ensures greater artistic performances, participation and appreciation for the arts within the African American community, as well as within Greater Cincinnati’s general public. We are composed of instructors, performers, crew, staff, members, and volunteers who are degreed, highly trained, and experienced professionals in Black Theatre, performing arts, education, creative and technical theatre, literature, arts administration, and community service.
Cincinnati Fringe Festival
The Cincinnati Fringe Festival features local, regional, national and international artists invading downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine. Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative is a non-profit arts organization of playwrights, directors and actors dedicated to developing new plays written by local playwrights. Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative together with the Cincinnati Arts Association sponsors monthly stage readings of new plays from September through June.

Falcon Theater

Falcon began life working out of the Westwood Town Hall building, an historic building that is run by the City of Cincinnati as a recreation and arts center. We stayed in that location for 14 years and have recently relocated to the Monmouth Theater right across the river in Newport Kentucky.

As a member of the Ohio Community Theater Association (OCTA), Falcon has provided a powerful voice…helping to distinguish the Greater Cincinnati area as one of the most diverse theatrical environments in the State. Falcon has been invited by OCTA to showcase our productions at the state level for 6 of the last 7 years and we have received outstanding critical and popular acclaim each time.

As a member of the newly formed League of Cincinnati Theaters, Falcon has reaffirmed our commitment to growth and the promotion of a unified arts community in Cincinnati. Through this new association with theaters including Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, New Edgeclif and Know Theater Tribe (just to name a few) Falcon will continue to be a thriving part of Greater Cincinnati’s exploding theater scene.
 
Falcon is proud to count many Cincinnati premieres among our shows, including As Is, Driving Miss Daisy, A Few Good Men, The Grapes of Wrath, Falsettoland, Tony 'N' Tina's Wedding, Jeffrey and Gilligan's Island: The Musical.

Performance Gallery, Cincinnati's home for alternative theatre, is a collaborative performance environment existing to produce and promote challenging works of theatre which seldom find a home on mainstream stages. Operating as a company of eight with invited guest-artists, the Performance Gallery produces a varying amount of works per year. Works featured can range in discipline from new plays generated from within the company, actor driven work, director experiments, existing but seldom produced scripts interpreted with an experimental vision, works in progress, or stuff we've just been dying to do.

UC College-Conservatory of Music
The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) is recognized both nationally and internationally as one of the leading conservatories for the performing arts and electronic media. The school's roster of more than 150 eminent faculty members regularly receives distinguished honors, and its alumni go on to notable success in the performing and media arts. CCM is also the largest single source of performing arts events in Ohio with an annual calendar of nearly 1,000 performances and presentations, ranging from solo recitals and chamber ensembles to full-scale opera and musical theater performances.
Xavier University Players
Xavier Players is a versatile group comprised of students with many majors and many special interests. A minor in Theatre is available but students do not need to be enrolled in the minor to audition for plays or musicals.
