Acclaim Productions

The Enquirer ACCLAIM AWARDS celebrates the best of Cincinnati theatre – Equity, semi-professional, alternative, university and everything in between.

Panelists include critics, educators, practitioners and savvy theatergoers who attend local theater on a calendar of June 1 (starting with Cincinnati Fringe Festival) through May 15. They cast their ballots in a variety of categories including traditional (performance, directing, choreography, design) and some less traditional, like Rising Stars, which applaud artists under 25 who have had an impact on the theater scene.

As a play or musical wins enough votes, we let you know. Our goal is to announce Acclaim-recommended shows while the production is still running and invite you to attend the show and judge for yourself. Categroy winners until the annual ACCLAIM AWARDS program in May.
