Proof By David Auburn Directed by Nathan Henegar Cast: Lauren Bailey as Catherine, Brandon Burton as Hal, Arny Stoller as Robert & Ginny Utz as Claire A much-acclaimed drama of the 1999-2000 season, Proof explores mystery and truth through the story of Catherine and her father, Robert – a once-brilliant mathematician. Although Catherine seems to have inherited much of her father's genius, it's quite possible that she has also inherited his instability. While searching for evidence of the failing man's intellect among his incoherent scribblings, a former student of Robert's exposes some of life's poignant lessons about love and trust. Update 1/30: Feb. 3rd 7 p.m. performance has been cancelled. |
