Lesole's Dance Project

Lesole's Dance Project

Combining traditional, tribal and modern dance from South Africa, this memorable and exhilarating performance is certain to excite young and old alike. Watch as dancers communicate through Gumboots, the coal miners’ infectious dance from deep underground, and Pantsula, the super-cool dance from the street corners of Johannesburg. Founded in 2003 by South African native Lesole Maine, Lesole's Dance Project has performed to acclaim throughout the U.S. With lots of interaction throughout, this one-of-a-kind show is sure to bring the audience to its feet.
