The Acclaim Awards celebrate Cincinnati theater by awarding outstanding work and supporting a variety of initiatives for area theater artists and educators including local Guest Equity Artist contracts, Theatre Educator Awards, Rising Stars and the Theatre Forward showcase at the Aronoff Center.

The Acclaims are not a competition; all excellence is recognized. Our panel votes on productions throughout the season from June 1 to May 15. The Acclaims applaud the best of the best wherever we find it.

Whenever possible shows are Acclaimed while still in production. You can find a list of Acclaim winning productions and categories here. Mark your calendar to join us at the annual awards program in May, where major award category winners are announced and the 2008-2009 season gets a musical preview.
